Been doing lots of fun stuff lately, so here's a hodge-podge recap for you.
My dear friend Esti finally had her baby! (ok I guess her hubby helped). I got to meet her last week, here are a few favorite shots...introducing Audrey Leah
Oooh, first I must show you the adorable hat her friend made for her (does it get any sweeter?)
And I of course gave in to my deepest secret inner desire...and got her a gift from my all-time favorite baby store, Janie & Jack
Just look at how they package their gifts...any store that does this, deserves to charge $25.00 for a onesie :)
Look at this perfect little doll-face
Congratulations Esti and Ovi, you did it!!
Check out these cool new coasters I got at my favorite store in the world.
I think they look quite cute next to my little tea-pot/lamp/flower pot combo. Too bad we don't have any furniture nice enough that it needs to be protected from messy drinks.
Last week my mother-in-law brought me to this amazing chocolate lounge. The interior was amazing - all things shabby-chic, with tons of beautiful chocolates and candies mixed in.
Oh yes, and...cupcakes too
I believe we practiced amazing self-restraint - didn't buy a single thing!
My husband is reading on the couch as I post this, and he just commented "That's a lot of pictures". Oh baby, I'm just getting started.
Speaking of babies...my sisters and I met up in Ann Arbor yesterday with some more of my great long-lost, out-of-town friends, Kate and Jon (no, not plus eight). We got to meet their two beautiful sons, Graham (2.5yrs) and Elliot (only 3 months). Here are a few shots
Oh, those soulful eyes full of the wisdom of three months.
He was checking me out...and then his mama caught his attention and brought on the smiles
(I love his little natural baby mohawk)
Graham was quite the imaginative little man. He showed me his two little baby chickens (or were they turtles?) Baby and Cranky.
This was, of course, after he went decimated his second outfit for the day. Turns out mud can be quite irresistible to a two year old.
The aftermath:
Graham loved my sister's pretty vintage purse with the "oh so golden" tassel
And of course Hannah and I had to take our turns cuddling with Elliot
Some sweet chubby little baby feet
And my favorite of the family shots...I love it when family shots capture great expressions and family dynamics
Goodbye Shaw family, it was so great to see y'all!!
And now I leave you, with a great shot of Sammy...this is his, "Seriously, are you taking another picture of me with that stupid crazy-looking flash thing?" face. Oh, I love those green eyes.
