Went to the city Sunday for an afternoon of 'funnery' (to use the word of another more witty than I)
and saw this amazing scooter. I knew my husband would give his firstborn to have this, so I had to take some pics. Actually, my witty friend took pics. (nice job!)

Last night, my sister-in-law and bro-in-law spent the night (yay, sleepover with a baby!) at our place because they had no power. This morning, I caught my little niece in such a good mood doing tummy time, just had to snap a few:

22 weeks and an exciting day

Today was a fun day. For the first time ever, a stranger asked me if I was expecting!
I said "Yes, I am 5 1/2 months" and she of course couldn't believe I was that far along and offered me many congratulations. What an exciting small little conversational exchange, there was a time I thought I would never get to have that conversation.
A second milestone today, the manly future father got to feel his baby kick for the first time.
Pretty awesome, I need not say more.

Yes, if badgered harshly, I may be forced to admit I was possibly sticking it out a little tiny bit to make it appear larger :)
