A Six Month Photoshoot

Well, I failed in my epic quest this month: to edit and post his six month photos in a timely manner.
Since he turns 7 months today, it is evident that did not happen. What's been keeping me busy?
- Gardening season!! All my summer veggies are in and thriving. Weeds are thriving as well.
- RN/APN license renewal deadline - had to squeeze in those last few CEUs I've been procrastinating.
- Sewing!! My ideas have been abounding, and Miss Singer has found herself having frequent dates with me.

Enough excuses, you say? Get on with the good stuff, you say? Ok, sure. Here goes. I did these over a two-week period, and I think he was a good sport considering I found out later that he had an ear infection, thus accounting for some crabbiness on his part.

A short blurb about six-month William - I love him more each day. He is laughing and squealing up a storm. He  is sitting by himself, rolling both ways (nope, not even interested in trying to crawl) but he LOVES standing. Not spitting up and drooling as much, which his launder appreciates. He is 95th percentile for height and 60th percentile for weight. Yup, definitely wearing 9-12 month outfits. I love this little boy.

2 months of fun

Recently, my mother told me she thinks the only reason I wanted to have a baby was so that I would have a fun, new photography prop.

I must admit, sometimes I think she might be right. :)

Mr. Jonah

I finally finished editing pics from a photo shoot I did last month.
While I must admit I have not done very many six month shoots, I still have to say it was a blast because he was definitely the most smiley, photogenic six month old I have ever had the privilege of chasing with my camera. Props to my hubby (who is preparing to be a father himself so it's good practice to get all the baby interaction he can get) for doing a great job keeping Jonah happy, distracted and smiling.
Jonah, you are one handsome son of a gun. I don't know which I adore most: the chubby cheeks, the dimpled pudgy fingers, the bright blue eyes, the cheesy toothy grin, the blond spiky hair or the fat rolls. Gotta love babies!

I've been busy...

How sad, I lost a follower. I guess someone got bored since I haven't been posting a lot lately. Well, I've been quite busy, taking pictures! I did four photo shoots last month, which means I've edited over 400 pictures in the past couple of weeks. I planned to share them all with you this blog post, but I just have too many favorites. So, this post represents my favorites from Miss Reagan's one year photos. Happy Birthday Reagan!
