Though employed in a rather practical, dry, and scientific field, I have always had various artistic interests on the side. Through the past years of working full-time, maintaining a happy marriage, and finishing graduate school, I have managed to keep these interests alive, and even pick up new ones.
At the beginning of last year, my husband and I decided to endeavor to start our own family. We had quite a rough time doing that, as we navigated the waters of infertility. However, in March 2011 we found out we were pregnant 2 days before starting IVF treatments, and are excitedly looking forward to a new baby due to arrive 11/11/11. During the dark and painful period of infertility, I did refused to let bitterness or anger creep into my spirit, or let them become the focus of this blog; rather I let it serve as a fun, creative outlet in which to share the small things in life that interest or excite me, as well as those that discourage me along the way. I thoroughly enjoy photography, and I am working on getting a website up and running - until then, I hope you enjoy some of my pics, my interests, and my little life adventures here.Thanks for stopping by!
