The other morning I went out to my yard after work to say good morning to my garden.
I was so surprised to be greeted by so many surprises...

The Resurrection Lily was a gift last Easter. I planted it in the garden, and this year it's blooming!
The fragrance is exquisite...almost enough to combat the suffocating wolf-urine rabbit repellent scent
that I am putting up with in an effort to fight of those nasties that eat my plants.

And the bee-balm that my garden-buddy friend Jenny gave me?? Yup, blooming in all of
its magenta splendor!!

As well as the roses...

 and some of the lilies

But  not ALL of the lilies are quite
ready to bless us with their presence...

Then as I strolled through my veggie beds, more surprises awaited me, like
baby fruits of all kinds!!

And the babies I am most excited about....

I'm feeling happy as a...green pepper

Our little friends Jack and Shanna hung out at our house for the day
while their parents moved to a new house.

The pups love coming over to our place, especially Jack, who always appears as if he has died and gone to heaven

Sam always gets a little 'on edge' when the pups are around,
but he still manages to come off looking like a majestic panther

An affectionate one, but a panther nonetheless

Now I shall leave you with this, Happy Independence Day!!

LOVE the garden- it looks magnificent! Glad the beebalm bloomed for you. I was worried we transported them too late. Isn't the color of them amazing? Hope to see you soon!

Hello there! Beautiful blog you have. I have to say it's amazing some of the things we seem to have in common. PCOS is a really frustrating thing to deal with. I knew something was wrong when i became an older teen and my periods started falling farther and farther apart. Once I was married we never were on birth control but I wasn't too worried at first because I figured it would happen eventually. Wow, that eventually is now 6 years later and though we aren't actively trying right now..I want to as soon as possible...It is also very hard when someone close is pregnant. Right now it is my close friend but in the not too distant past it was my unmarried, not ready to be a mom, sister...VERY hard for me and still is a major struggle in my life. Anyhow..I read that you have a garden..I do too!! It is a major interest and hobby of mine... I can't wait to read more from you and hope to get to know you better. have a wonderful night! Sincerely Evie
